Some players are remembered. Some are worshipped.

A pop-art tribute to the Argentine No. 10, shown from behind with the golden World Cup trophy raised high above his head. His face is hidden by a pixelated block, and light rays burst out behind him in yellow and gold, as if the whole sky was lit by the moment. The poster is printed on crumpled, creased paper in blue and yellow tones, with six stars above the name and a bold “DIOS” (“God”) in white at the bottom. It’s stylized, intense and a little religious in feeling, and it treats a football legend like an icon on a church wall.

It’s a poster for anyone who grew up on the stories, the goals and the arguments about the greatest of all time. It suits a football fan’s room, a man cave, an office or a sports corner, and it’s a natural gift for an Argentina supporter.
